What calibers can this handgun-rated plate rack bundle handle?

The handgun-rated version of our plate rack bundle features 5/16" thick certified AR500 steel. It is explicitly designed to handle all standard centerfire handgun calibers—including 9mm, .40 S&W, and .45 ACP—at a minimum safe shooting distance of 10 yards. Do not shoot this 5/16" setup with centerfire rifle calibers, steel core ammo, or shotgun slugs.

What specific items are included in this plate rack bundle?

This complete reactive bundle includes everything you need to start shooting, minus the wood. It comes with our heavy-duty commercial-grade 990-series Horizontal 2x4 Stand (saw horse stand) and six reactive Knock Down Plate Rack Brackets complete with their matching AR500 steel paddles.

How does the reactive "knockdown" resetting action work?

Our clever mechanical design completely eliminates the need for annoying reset ropes, springs, or long walks downrange. When a paddle is struck cleanly by a handgun round, it breaks away and knocks down flat backward over the horizontal 2x4 bar. To reset the plate rack instantly, you simply shoot the down facing paddle for shoot to reset   Our unique mechanism allows the shooter to flip all the fallen plates back up to the vertical starting position.

Can I upgrade or expand this plate rack system later?

Yes, the Bash Target Supply system is completely modular and scalable. Because the knockdown brackets slide onto a standard horizontal 2x4 lumber piece, you can easily add more brackets later to grow your target line. You can also mix and match by swapping the standard round plates out for our reactive bowling pin paddles or upgrading to thicker 3/8" rifle-rated brackets on the exact same stand frame.

Does this bundle include the 2x4 lumber and base legs?

No, the bundle does not include the standard 2x4 wood studs legs for the base stand. Shipping large pieces of common lumber and framing steel across the country raises shipping fees unnecessarily. Leaving these out allows us to offer a full-scale reactive plate rack for under five hundred dollars, while you can cheaply grab the 2x4 studs and leg pipes at any local home improvement storefront.

Can I add AR500 protectors to this plate rack to protect and extend the life of the 2x4 cross bar?

Yes, you can add our AR500 Steel plate rack armor brackets at any time.  They are 8.5” wide to set your target plates at exactly 12” on center according to competition rules.  The guards are fixed at a 20 degree downward angle to safely deflect bullets to the ground.
