This stand handles AR500 steel targets and cardboard or paper targets in limitless configuration options.  

What calibers can the 970 Pro Stand safely handle?

Our Pro Stand is built with thick-walled, heavy-duty steel tubes engineered for maximum ruggedness and range durability. It is fully rated to handle impacts from all standard handgun, rifle, and shotgun calibers, including high-powered rounds up to .50 BMG. 

Are tools required to assemble and set up the stand at the range?

No, the 970 Pro Stand is engineered for zero-tool setup and zero range assembly unlike most other products. The base utilizes premium stainless steel set screws. You simply slide your custom-cut 2x4 lumber legs and vertical uprights into the heavy steel tubes, tighten the set screws by hand, and your base is completely locked down and ready to shoot in seconds. 

Can this stand be used for both paper and steel targets?

Yes, the dual vertical 2x4 post configuration provides a limitless foundation for any type of target line layout. You can staple standard cardboard or paper targets directly across the two wood posts, hang multiple AR500 steel gongs using our 2x4 Hook, static or chain hangers, or mount interactive target brackets.

The 970 Pro Stand is the perfect starting block for building a highly customizable range playground. It is explicitly designed to integrate with our 2x4 T-Brackets. By sliding a T-Bracket over your vertical posts, you can link multiple stands together with horizontal 2x4 beams to build sprawling multi-target plate racks, dueling trees, or expansive shooting stages.
